Purpose
The Tilmans-Dion Section Service Award is intended to recognize a member of ASEE’s Southeastern Section who has rendered outstanding service to the Section.
Award
The award is in the form of an award plaque presented during the Awards Ceremony at the ASEE Southeastern Section’s Annual Conference.
Eligibility
- The candidate must be a member of ASEE’s Southeastern Section.
- The candidate must be able to attend the ASEE Southeastern Section Annual Conference.
- The award plaque is presented at the Awards Ceremony on Monday evening.
Nomination
Any member of the ASEE Southeastern Section may nominate a candidate for the award.
Evaluation
The Awards and Recognition Unit will evaluate the applicant’s service activities.
Documentation
The nomination package should include a nomination letter and a description of service activities rendered to the section. The maximum length of the document is one page.
Submission
The nomination package should be submitted electronically as a single PDF (.pdf) or compressed file (.zip) to the Section’s Vice President for Awards and Recognition:
