The College of Engineering at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a non-tenure-track Lecturer faculty position in our First-Year Engineering (FYE) program. The position is long-term renewable with a start date of Fall 2023. Lecturer applicants should hold at least a Master’s degree (Ph.D. preferred) in engineering or computer science, and individuals with prior industrial experience are especially encouraged to apply.
Duties will include instruction in our hands-on first-year engineering curriculum in collaboration with the FYE faculty team, and the development of new course materials and interactive classroom activities. Course topics include introduction to the engineering profession, student success strategies, computer programming and software applications, hands-on hardware interface activities, teamwork and engineering project design.
