The Department of Electrical, Computer and Biomedical Engineering at Union College invites applications for a three-year Visiting Assistant Professor position, beginning Fall 2023. A Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a closely related field is required. Candidates expecting to complete their doctoral thesis before September of 2023 are also welcome to apply. We welcome applications from candidates in all areas of electrical and/or computer engineering and candidates from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have a deep commitment to undergraduate education and research interests that can involve undergraduate students.
We ask that candidates submit the following: (1) a cover letter, (2) a curriculum vitae, (3) statements of teaching and research interests, (4) a statement describing experience working with diverse student populations and/or the ability to contribute to a diverse community.
