The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign invites applications for multiple teaching faculty positions at all levels and in all topical areas of computer engineering. We seek highly qualified applicants with a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and the ability to teach computer engineering at all levels. This is a 100% non-tenure-track appointment on an academic year (nine-month) service basis paid over twelve months.
Applicants must have or be working toward a Ph.D. or equivalent in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field, and a terminal degree of that type is required before starting a teaching faculty position. In order to ensure full consideration, applications must be received by April 7, 2023. Applications may be considered as early as October 2022, and applicants may be interviewed before the closing date. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. The preferred starting date is August 16, 2023, but is negotiable.
