The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign invites applications for multiple teaching faculty positions at all levels and in all topical areas of computer engineering. This is a 100% non-tenure-track appointment on an academic year (nine-month) service basis paid over twelve months.
Applicants must have or be working toward a Ph.D. or equivalent in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field, and a terminal degree of that type is required before starting a teaching faculty position. Electrical, Computer & Biomedical Engineering

The Department of Electrical, Computer and Biomedical Engineering at Union College invites applications for a three-year Visiting Assistant Professor position, beginning Fall 2023. A Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a closely related field is required. Candidates expecting to complete their doctoral thesis before September of 2023 are also welcome to apply. The Professional Communication Program at Johns Hopkins University seeks candidates for a teaching-track faculty position in technical writing and professional communication. All candidates must be student-centered teachers with documented success in the classroom. Strong candidates will be able to design and teach technical communication courses within the context of a scientific, engineering, or medical discipline and to offer STEM-based journalism, ethics, or policy courses.
This teaching load for this position is three writing and communication courses each fall and spring (a total of six courses per year). All communication courses have small enrollment caps. While the candidate’s primary responsibilities will be focused on the undergraduate curriculum, there are opportunities to develop and teach graduate level courses. Candidates may also participate in the PCP’s new Technical Communication Lab.
