The Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering, in the College of Engineering at Iowa State University (ISU), invites applications for the position of a (nine-month) term teaching faculty member at any rank. Successful candidates will be expected to provide high quality instruction in undergraduate industrial engineering courses, including lecture and laboratory courses, as well as curriculum coordination and other responsibilities related to the teaching mission of the university such as committee work and mentoring of undergraduate students. Candidates with suitable qualifications may also teach master’s level systems engineering or engineering management courses. Candidates should have strong communication skills and share our commitment to enhancing excellence through diversity and inclusion.
Both full and part-time full-time equivalency (FTE) employee status will be available for this position depending on the selected candidate’s availability and the department’s teaching needs.
