About the Division’s Outstanding Junior Faculty (Young Author Award):
- The Outstanding Young Faculty Award recognizes a junior faculty member in the
manufacturing field. Eligible candidates are identified through either their authorship of
annual conference papers or nominations by division members. - The award is presented during the division’s social event at the annual conference.
- The selection is made by the Awards Committee, consisting of the Awards Chair, Division
Chair, and Program Chair of the Manufacturing Division. - Depending on the division’s budget, the award may include a monetary component.
- The selection process takes place during the Spring and Summer semesters leading up to the
annual conference.
