ASEE is the premier organization devoted to the promotion of Engineering Education. The Middle Atlantic Section dates back to 1942 when the organization was named Society for the Promotion of Engineering Education (SPEE) and it carries on with the tradition of transforming the Engineering teaching and learning process.
This section covers a broad geographic area, including New York City area, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and Washington, DC to mid-State Pennsylvania. We encourage new and old members to support our activities, especially our fall and spring conferences.
Engineers use principles of mathematics and science combined with innovative thinking to solve problems and create new designs that benefit humanity. Albert Einstein once said, “Scientists investigate that which already is; but Engineers create that which has never been”.
If you would like to become more involved with our Section, please contact us! We are open to new ideas to promote excellence in engineering science and technology education in the Middle Atlantic Section.
