Dear Ethics Division Members,
Please find below an announcement for a blog series on engineering and community based learning. Thanks!
Best,
Denver
The first blog in the blog series on “Engineering and Community-Based Global Learning” has been posted to the National Campus Compact Website. This blog series leads up to a special session at the ASEE conference in July called “At the Crossroads of Community Engagement, Ethics, Liberal Education, and Social Responsibility: Community engaged engineering education challenges and opportunities in light of COVID-19.”
Here’s the link to the first one (there are 8 total): https://compact.org/community-based-global-learning-in-engineering-education-engagement-ethics-and-social-responsibility/
The conference session is on Tuesday, July 27th at 12:45pm. We will have both a special session with a panel and another session where authors will share their papers related to the topic.
Thanks,
Kelly
