The Cumberland House Knoxville is located on the edge of the University of Tennessee campus. The hotel is within walking distance (5-7 minute walk) to Zeanah Engineering Complex which will host our conference activities. “Settled in downtown Knoxville, relish in the rich history of the city’s manufacturing industry. Enjoy a handcrafted cocktail or an Appalachia-inspired dish at our restaurant and bar. Explore with one of our complimentary bikes, Worlds Fair Park and University of Tennessee are across the street. Airports and Public Transportation

Airport

McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) serves the greater Knoxville area for air travel. McGhee Tyson hosts the following airlines: United, American Airlines, Delta and Allegiant. The University of Tennessee Campus and the Cumberland House (FYEE Conference Hotel) are a 20 minute drive from McGhee Tyson airport.

The Nashville International Airport (BNA) services all major airlines. The UTK Campus is a 2 hour and 45 minute drive from BNA.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) services all major airlines. The UTK Campus is a 3 hour and 30 minute drive from ATL.

Ground Transportation

There are several ground transportation options available once arriving at McGhee Tyson.

Rental cars are available at McGhee Tyson Airport. Major car rental companies include: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, National, Dollar and Payless.

There are rideshare stations for Uber and Lyft outside the arrivals terminal.

Taxi services are available but it is suggested that you make reservations prior to your travel to ensure transportation is available when you arrive.

There is no hotel shuttle service from McGhee Tyson airport to the Cumberland House hotel.
