We are educators, researchers, graduate students, administrators, and industry professionals who believe that impactful teaching and innovative curriculum are foundational to the future of engineering. Our community includes both emerging and seasoned leaders in engineering education, all dedicated to the continual improvement of teaching and learning in chemical engineering.
What We Do
The Chemical Engineering Division provides a platform to exchange ideas, showcase educational research, and develop best practices through:
- Conference Programming: Engaging sessions, panels, and workshops at the ASEE Annual Conference, where members share educational research, classroom innovations, and strategies to enhance student learning.
- Awards and Recognition: Honoring excellence in teaching, mentoring, and scholarship in chemical engineering education, including the prestigious Fahien Award, Woods Lectureship, and CACHE, Cororan, Martin Awards. For the full list see: (link for awards)
- Professional Development: Supporting members at every stage of their careers through mentoring, networking, and leadership opportunities.
- Community Building: Fostering collaboration and connection through special projects, division meetings, and active member engagement.
